Michael Rack, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Rack is board certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Psychiatry, and is one of only a few physicians in Mississippi certified in the practice of Behavioral Sleep Medicine by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Rack leads a highly skilled staff of technologists in the provision of diagnostic testing. With Dr. Rack, Somnus Sleep Clinic provides a wide variety of treatments for sleep disorders, including Continuous Positive Air Pressure (CPAP), medication, phototherapy (light boxes), cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, and referral for dental appliances for obstructive sleep apnea.

Melissa Lawson, B.S., RPSGT
Technical Coordinator

Ms. Lawson has close to five years experience working as a technician in sleep medicine and is registered with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. Melissa has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Mississippi College and has experience administering polysomnographic testing to all ages from infants to older adults.

Kim White, B.S.
Sleep Technologist

Ms. White has five years of experience as a sleep technologist.  Kim earned a bachelors degree in Psychology from Mississippi College and has experience administering polysomnographic tests to all ages.  Prior to joining Somnus, Kim worked with the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
